Chapter 2-1....grrrr

I'm up to the bit where you have to defeat the Growmeba. I don't have any items I can use and I can't get close enough to it and it's clones to use Tippi (without getting hurt that is).

I've tried using Mario and Peach but no luck.

Please help me!!

be patient.. if you jump on the "true" one then they all dissappear. sometimes you have to wait because you cant jump as high as it is.

Edit: if you use princess, you can hold DOWN on the D-pad and she takes out an umbrella and can be protected for being hit.

Use Thoreau to grab one and throw it at the others until you find the true clone. Once you hit the true clone, all of them will disappear.
