You know something that irritated me?

I still have the art of complaining.

It's that when you died in Melee it would take a number of seconds for you to pop your clogs. All of the intros lasted three seconds, but deaths didn't. I remember when me and my sister were playing, and that lovely kick in the ass Samus lava stage came up for sudden death.

These are normally over in a couple of seconds, but we both ran off the edge and hit the lava (this is what we got for swapping characters, wanted to see what the fuss was about with Roy and Marth) she clearly ran off first... But did the scream death thing into the background... And I went to the front... I also lost. Nnhh.

Wonder what the deaths will look like anyway...

Druidan: I don't know how anyone can not notice this, but that comic was from someone on deviantART, one of the most popular artist's on there, called Hail-NekoYasha. She's got tonnes of Nintendo comics up there.

^Do you mean the 'star finishes' and also when your character hits the camera?

I like those. They add yet another variable to the game, in that if you die right after your opponent, theres still a chance that they will win (if that made any sense at all). Many a time this has happened to me and my friends only to start a huge upraor in my basement, I love it.

Ex: I KO my friend to the top and set my controller down because I know I've won, only to see a bomb run into me and him only halfway through the star-finish animation. He wins.

Yeesss, bloody annoyed me though. Sometimes it would be against the clock so it'd feel like forever when you're waiting for someone to die.

That always happens to me since I don't play aggresively at all in sudden death... although, I alsways seem to lose when the bombs start falling... maybe I should be slightly more aggresive
