The third installment of one of the finest fighting series' evar was finally played by the press earlier today and even thought written impressions are all well and good, videos is what we really want to see! Thats where this thread comes in!

Post videos of all things Smash! I will update the front page as often as I can with all the videos that get posted by you all (And by myself), for easier viewing. Under each section has the date of the last update so do have a gander now and again.

Please feel free to chat about everyones videos! Tell us what you've noticed in each video like, stages, items used, new attacks or even old ones and character aspects...anything and everything you can pick up from them!

Really cool thread. Hey did they show one on how to play with wiimote AND nunchuck? because i wanna play like that, the wiimote alone for me seems weird.

Not yet, if I see one I'll post it as soon as possible.

So far I've just seen Wiimote on the side (see MTV video) and Classic Controller (see Character and Stage Select & Castle Siege - 4 Player Brawl). Wiimote is apparently really fun and comfortable, bar shielding, and good for new users where as the CC basicly emulates the GC controller.

from that video we know what peach's final smash is. she puts everyone to sleep and spawns hearts and eats them while they are sleeping...
seems like a pretty lame final smash though, isnt very creative or anything

Are there any videos of the Little Mac assist trophy? I heard he's been AT'd. Kinda disappointing, I thought he had pretty good odds as a playable character.

Oh well, any other bad news? Any popular characters confirmed as assist trophies? Maybe some good news like Meta Knight's or Ike's Final Smash? Anything we can confirm from these demos?

Pixelated Advance Wars characters are an assist.

We don't know anything on Zelda, she wasnt playible. Mario, Samus, DK, Pikachu, Fox, Link, Diddy, Pit, Meta Knight, Ike, Peach, Yoshi, Sonic and Bowser were the only ones playible. Links alt colour makes him Dark Link apparently, or so says IGN.

I've watched alot of videos so far...no sign of Little Mac...nothing in the hands on previews I've read either...

Ahhh...yes. I must have thought I saw Zelda at a glance... My mistake. =)

And yes, I've heard of the Advance Wars characters and Dark Link, but I still swear I heard Little Mac was a pixelated assist trophy. Google it yourself. I've seen a few threads on the subject.

Although, I suppose they could just be rumors...

Have you found the actual video yet? I would like to watch it so that I can be 100% sure. The "Little Mac" claims seem to be very spread out and carry no proof. I've only found about two sites that "confirmed" it...1up and the site you found. That, and random people who have seen those sites. I'm not quite ready to believe them just by them telling me. I want some proof before I take one of my top characters off my roster.

If it is true, I hope we see an 8-bit Mario assist trophy so we could have a hint of hope that Mac can still be in. =) Although, I'm not betting anything...
