Need help playing online

I can't play online in the "with anyone" option right now, I can watch a match in spectator mode, but when I try to play, it keeps seeking people endlessly.
I didn't find any topics with this problem, but if anyone can help me or send me to a topic that already explains this, I'd appreciate it.

sometimes it does take a while and it being monday alot of people might be in school or just getting out, depending on your region, also there is work

try turning ur wii off then starting it over

EDIT: forgot to add... usually it takes like 2 mins to find people.... patience

I think I've tried it about 4 or 5 times today at different times, since I don't have class this week, and spent quite a while hitting the punch bag before giving it up.
I was wondering if there is a technical issue, like changing the IP and stuff, that people know about....
