Welcome to the Second Super Smash Brothers Mid/South Western Brawlers Tournament! This time is going to be bigger than the last. We are allowing 32 contestants (twice as many as last time) to participate. Please Sign Up now and get in before its too late. Please remember you Must be in the Mid/South western region to participate.

The Mid/South-western Brawlers Tournament will begin on Sunday, May 18th at 4:00 p.m Mountain Standard Time. If you fail to sign on at the correct time, you will be disqualified and your opponent will move to round Two. We will post the times for Second battles in the future.

You will recieve an Email 1 week prior to your First match containing your opponents Information, Such as Name, Friend Code, etc...

Tournament Rules

* Each Match will be a 3 stock battle under normal conditions
* The Match will consist of Two battlers.
* No Items will be used
* You will be fighting in 'Final Destination'
* Battles will be fought once. No re-matches.
* This is not a best 2/3 type Tournament. Once you loose, you are done. But you can still be put on the Loosers Bracket.
* You may not change your character
* Participants may ONLY live in the Mid/South-Western Boundries
* You will arrive at the correct Time,having already registered your opponent. If you fail to show after 10 minutes, you will be removed from the Bracket.

Tournament Winners

There will be 2 awarded Winners, Gold and Silver. These winners will be determined by their drop-out-rate in the Final 2 contestant battle. The first one down Recieves a 2nd place badge. And of course, the Final Victor will recieve a 1st place Badge.

A: May 18th, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time

Q: Isn't Mingus Hosting a Bigger, Better Tourney?
A: Not anymore. Due to legal Issues, Mingus had to cancel the tournament. We are not encountering the same problems, so don't worry about us being cancelled.

Q: I want to be apart of this, where do I sign up?

Q: Is there a Prize???
A: Not necesarilly. I am at no point where my income will support a prize for the tourney. However, You will recieve a Badge graphic you can wear in your Signature or Avatar exclaiming your Victory.

This is a Tournament for Mid and South Western Brawlers. It is not a "Full Scale Tournament" but merely a smaller one for those who want to compete that Live in the Mid/South Western Region. If this is the wrong board then where do you suggest I post this?

This tournament discriminates in no way what so ever as far as I am aware.

I live in New York, can I join?

NewYork would not follow under the Category of Midwest or Southwest (most likely Eastern USA).

Valid States are: Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada, and California.

No it isn't, I can't join this tournament you don't see me whining. It's simply because of if it was all over, the lag would be immense. So stop saying that it's "discrimination".

Some tournaments require you be a certain age to join, but does that mean they are discriminating against younger kids? No, it means they are trying to make it as fair as possible by getting people who are generally the same level.

But age means nothing too, it's experience, not how long you've lived (unless you're 6 years old, that's different.)
