i have never heard of the forbidden 7. enlighten me.

They were character ideas that were began, but never finished. Their data was never deleted from the game, however, they are not fully-developed characters and therefore cannot be unlocked.

true lev but still there is a chance soon there gonna use for the next brawl game (if there is another one coming up ihope)

It is unknown whether there will be a fourth addition to the Super Smash Bros. series, and even if one is created it won't be for atleast five years.

All Hail Melee!

Most (somewhat-gamer) players you'll talk to will tell you that it was a disappointment. Its almost unanimous on SmashBoards.

Sakurai changed things that didn't need to be changed. He dumbed down the playing field. He left more oppurtunity for luck and he put a cap on the potential of certain characters.

And I wouldn't get your hopes up, Tyler. In a recent interview, Sakurai stated that if he were to do another addition of SSB, he wouldn't want to just 'add more modes'. He said he would want to change the overall flow of the game. This has been a huge topic on SmashBoards, proving that Sakurai isn't content with leaving gameplay the way it is, even if its near-perfect (see: Melee). Apparently he thinks we'd get bored with it if it were too similar to its prequel, although that his highly false.

Bah, it wasn't fresh. It was melee with a few additions. Online sucks (in my opinion). Couple new characters. Clones are still there. All the stages are identical with one or two different twists, but different scenery (which isn't a big deal for a game like Smash). Taking away techniques which separated the men from the boys.

I was just disappointed. A lot of things were/weren't in there which made the game, like I said, stale. In my opinion, they could have done A LOT more. I personally don't think that updated graphics, adding a few stages/characters, and making a less than mediocre story line shouldn't have been the 3rd installment of a previously incredible franchise.

My main theme was that he changed too much, while yours was that he changed too little. However, I was gearing towards gameplay, which you seem to agree that he changed too much in.

Oh, yeah. I actually don't think he tweaked a ton, but what he did, sucked.

I just said "Fukc?", as in, "That's not good". :P
