Use a different controller. Use the Wii-Remote or something if you don't like the GCN controller.

like the difference between the melee responsiveness and the brawl responsiveness need some tweaking; too bad. like double jumps are a lil more tricky as well as edge play

when use the game cube controller(all the time in brawl)
it feels like im playing melee

it might just be ur controller

or if ur playing online, u might be experiencing button lag

when ur attacks get delayed

probably there's just something wrong with your controller, I use the GC controller all the time and I've always found it to be very responsive.

i need to get some classic controllers, my controllers fail horribly sometimes i cant jump or dash :/

its all about your controller
i use a 3 year old gc controller and hasnt hurt my game once but im so used to it from melee and brawl if i try another control style i cant beat a lvl3
