Ken is legendary though. Was the best for many years.

Too bad Ken retired. To me IMO he will always remain the King of Melee. I just love his game style.

lol i thought you might be but you said it so bluntly so i had to make sure. Have you seen anything on Azen's marth lately? I haven't seen too much of him in my yourtube searches

and to marth:
ya he was the first pro i watched lol i like him cuz he started everything himself. invented his own style

I havent seen some of his videos lately, but Yeah Azen to me second best Marth player.

2nd best marth and CF IMO. his CF is beast in team. only topped by Isai i think. Isai has some of the best combo's i've ever seen... and i appreciate them a lot since CF is my second main in melee

Who's your main in Melee? Mine are Marth and Link. I like how aniki uses Link.

Yup loved his style a lot back when I was maining Marth. A lot more than M2K's right now as a matter of fact. That doesn't mean Ken would stand a chance at this point in time against M2K, but I did love his style back in the day.
Videos are great and all spiff, but it's nothing like playing against experienced players in person. Mostly because you can never get someone's perfect game on video. Get yourself out to some tourneys. I promise you won't regret it. Think about even coming out to Georgia next month, if you wanna play M2K, and the pros. Azen isn't gonna be there, but mostly everyone else is.

oh ya he's good. i was never much for link though. my main was sheik. she was the only one i was competitive with my friends with. my secondaries usually got owned. they were CF, jiggly, pichu, and YL

and to Prez:
oh man i know! i'd love to come out and play the pro's. if i didn't have so many responsibilities around here at the moment i'd love to come next month. i think it'd be more practical for me to hit a local tourney though this summer. so please please PM me next time your going to one. I'm a busy person but i'd make an exception for smash. even if i don't get to play i'd love to come and just watch. get a feel for the atmosphere

I would also liked to see those pros play. I never got to competetive on Melee, I just hit lots of Local Tourneys here in Houston, but nothing bigger than That.

^ i never even got to a local tourney... just had about a dozen friends that all played and watched vids so we ended up learning most of the AT's. i wish i went to one though... cuz now i'd have to spend a week just getting back to where i used to be lol

Arg, All the top smashers always have their tournments in Boulder and Denver

I wish someone would have it in the spring. Guess i have to wait until January so i can get my licence and drive there myself. I just found Colorado Cutthroat Console Tournement Org so i should get more compititive
