Many of you wanted another Pokemon Trainer for Brawl, and the idea of a "Pokemon Rival" was brought up. So, out of boredom, I've come up with a complete breakdown of what this Pokemon Rival could be like with GSC Pokemon.
The set includes Totodile, Bayleef, and Typhlosion, keeping with the pattern of First-form Water/Second-form Grass/Third-form Fire as we see in Pokemon Trainer. After all, we don't want one of these Trainers to have the upperhand in a canon battle. That would be like asking for there to be 20 new topics a day on who would win. ;D
---ACTUAL TRAINER---
Appearance: I'd prefer the Rival with red hair from GSC. If not, then the GSC boy. Or even the GSC female. And Gary is always an option.
A DIFFERENT Final Smash?: Triple Finish (NOT THE SAME AS PT's)
This Triple Finish is different, as it only affects a certain radius AROUND your active Pokemon, rather than all the pokemon attacking horizontally across the stage.
Typhlosion, Bayleef, and Totodile all come out and gather VERY close to your main Pokemon. Typhlosion uses Blast Burn, causing a flame explosion in a HUGE radius around itself (about 5/8ths of Final Destination). Players hit by the Blast Burn are not damaged, but are trapped where they were hit.
Bayleef uses Magical Leaf as Typhlosion traps players in the Blast Burn area, creating 15 or so leaves. Once the Blast Burn radius is maintained, the Magical Leafs home in on any characters caught in the Blast Burn trap (it's random how many leaves hit you if 2+ characters are trapped). Leaves do about 3% damage per leaf. This comes to 45% damage from Magical Leaf if you are the only player trapped.
After all the Magical Leaves have cut the opponent, Totodile uses Dragon Claw on one random player that is trapped in the Blast Burn, doing 30% with huge knockback. Depending on how many leaves you got hit by, this can be potentially an auto KO above 70%, which you'll have if you got hit by all the leaves even at 0%.
All the pokemon except your active pokemon go back to the Rival after this attack is done.
This all happens in about 5 seconds' time.

hmm... Not bad, but too much depth on only one subject. What about his moves? The stats of the Rival Trainer's pokemon? That's even more important than the FSA, imo.

this would be cool though the final smash seems like entei only with knockback on the final hit
