Hey folks,

I haven't been on here in ages, so I haven't had a chance to voice my opinion on anything Brawl related yet. Luckily tonight I had a Mario Kart issue I needed feedback on, so I thought I'd throw a couple Brawl threads out while I'm on here too.

So here's what pisses me off about online Brawlers...

1.) I've mained with DK since the first Smash, and now since I'm a fan of that franchise I've added Diddy as a backup character as well. I don't mean to pat myself on the back but I'm one of those players who can pretty much use any character effectively, but I'm especially dangerous with DK and Diddy. So what gets under my skin is when I pop online with one of these two characters, kick some a$$, then have my opponents change their players on me. When I'm using DK it's almost guaranteed one of the opposition will change to King Dedede or Diddy Kong. I don't know what's going through these peoples' heads...Dedede's power will beat me? Diddy's speed? It doesn't work, especially since I've had so much practise/use with both of these characters.
If I'm facing a dangerous Pokemon Trainer I'm certainly not going to switch to a Pikachu or Jigglypuff...what are these people thinking? Anyone?

2.) Ike users. My apologies, I have the utmost respect for Ike pros, but someone paralyzed from the neck down could win with this character. It's not so much that the Ikes bother me personally in a match, but I hate seeing players with no skill using the guy and picking other people off. At least Marth users are respectable...even though he's a pretty big douche, especially in his all white costume.

3.) What I like to call the "after school special". Has anybody else noticed that if they're brawling online around the time the kids get home from school, suddenly the matches are flooded with Kirbys (who do the brick drop every 2 seconds), Pikachus (who spam the thunder) and Sonics (who are just generally annoying). It's good practise for getting around the spamming that these characters are notorious for, but it gets tiring after a while.

4.) Sonic users. What do you do really? I think I've only ever come across maybe two Sonic pros online...the rest merely act like an assist trophy, moving obstacles. If anything, most Sonics are just annoying and run in when you're about to KO someone, hit you, and run off. Rarely do I see a Sonic win a brawl match.

5.) General annoying players. You ever notice those players who just seem like they're fu cking around, standing on the edge, throwing items off etc. From my experience, these are generally the better players...the fact is, the opposition is so boring it becomes more entertaining to just amuse yourself. If these kind of players bother you, then by all means go out of your way to attack them, but odds are you're gonna get a smack down. Try going up and doing a double-duck, or a few taunts, it might be more advantageous for you if you end up gaining a partner.

That's all I feel like ranting on about for now. If anything I've said strikes a chord with you then feel free to hit me up for my brawl code. I don't want a slew of requests here, so I'd only like to play with pros...and everyone I've exchanged with on wiichat thus far, is a bit of a disappointment.

like when you pick a char. and get on the stage, then all of a sudden, they no contest to change chars.
