They didn't fix crap. The last time Nin was asked about Brawl's online lag they basically told us to wait for no one (in the entire world) to be online. >_>
From what I've seen, the lag in Brawl is caused by two obvious things:
1) Distance
2) Slow internet connection

I rarely get lag on either the US or European versions :/
And pretty much never when I play friend matches.

a lot of it will be to do with the hosts connection and you can unfortunatly never be sure if you will get good or bad

I only had an issue on launch day, after that never a problem. Make sure to check out your own connection before balmign nintendo

They should make an online ranking system so then when you click Brawl with anyone and then basic brawl you have to pick a server that is either a country server (like Server Canada, Server United States, Server Australia etc.) or a ranking server (Points 0-200, 201-400, 401-600 etc, etc).
