insulting me because i use yoshi?

A lot of ppl (mostly friends) keep laughing at me because i use low tier character, yoshi. I keep telling them that i use yoshi because yoshi is my favoriate character in mario theries. No matter how crappy yoshi is, i keep telling them i am going to use it.

They keep saying yoshi sucks in general, not only ssbb -_-...

I also beat all of my friends with yoshi so.. this is getting on my nerve.

Haha. Yoshi is alwaysalwaysalways my main, but not in this or Mario Kart. I couldn't stand to put myself through such torture.

Its ok people question Jigglypuff when I use her and even Peach for that manner, but Peach was low when brawl first came out cuz she was better in Melee. and now shows up on Top/High Tier on lists.

But I also was always Peach in Mario Party as well. And I guess she would be my favorite from the Marios series. Well She would tie with Toad and Bowser.

Who do they want you to use ?? MK and Snake ??

Jigglypuff and Yoshi are often underestimated, especially because how awful they were in melee. They're much better in Brawl, though I don't personally use either of them.

if your getting made fun of for playing Yoshi, play it cool... then when it comes time... rip their crap to pieces. trash talkers usually suck lol so beat the crap out of them and be like ya... you just got owned by a pink dinosaur...

and its manditory for a yoshi mainer to crap out trash talkers into eggs and up taunt at least once a match... for a few reasons:
1. its the best taunt in the game
2. they just got eaten

if you can main yoshi successfully then you should be commended... cuz he does suck... but luckily he sucks a little less than in previous games and Brawl's player base is flooded with players with terrible spacing and tactics... so play smart and you'll rip up 80% of the people who play brawl

I don't see why people flip out if someone uses a character that's typically looked down apon, for whatever reason in whichever game, as long as you can kick ass with him/her/it.

I used to use ZSS way back when, and people would always give me that odd look. I never understood why.. A character is a character. It's there to use, not be limited. (I never was any good with ZSS, to be honest.. my friends just sucked so they got owned.

Funny, because now I'm maining ZSS, though I don't play brawl often, only with friends, typically.

If you find Yoshi fun to play with, regardless of if you're good with that character, than why not choose Yoshi? Play whichever character you want to.

MangaGamer has done this but only cause hes to poor to buy one and she rarely played it anyways

I think any player that can pull of Yoshi should commended. Playing as yoshi in any Super Smash Bros. game always gave me a headache because of the lack of a decent recovery. I need to face you some time. I main with Link.
