can anyone tell me what 3rd party is supposed to mean, everyone sais it in like every thread.....

3rd Party developers are anyone who isn't Nintendo. Simple as that.

1st Party refers to the company creating the console, in this case, Nintendo.

An example of a 2nd party developer is Retro Studios, who are making Metroid.
