after you beat the story part can you still go around and do side missions. if so how

After you complete the game (ie defeat final boss and watch credits), you will be back at the entrance of the final dungeon with everything that you had from your last save. You can leave and go back to anywhere you've been in the game to complete any last quests or get a few more collectibles.

After I beat the game it put me back to my last save point aka right before going to Hyrule Castle...

Same here what is he talking about! I started by Hyrule Castle, but it would be cool to do some other things. I could never figure out how to fix the bridge!
