mmm love white russians! what about about car bombs lol those things are the ****! guiness and you drop a shot of baileys in it and chug

Never tried that Chach. Something to do this weekend I suppose!

The only reason why they love-drinking it, is basically because its cold, if its not cold then the beer would taste sour and nasty!!

(Go ahead, try a beer when its warm or HOT:scared:   :arf:   THIS IS WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN)

Yup it tastes great, but you cant' just pour the baileys in the guinness. You have to actually pour out a double shot of baileys and drop the glass in the beer  lol its so much more fun that way...

Um i've drank warm beer plenty of times it just went down more smooth...

My fave

Must of been those adds when I was a kid

I drink for a few reasons; To have fun, relax, lower inhibitions.

I disagree with the idea that drinking causes spousal abuse. I mean it "helps" sure - because sometimes I can't find the enthusiasm to give my partner a good beating until I've nailed a few shots of sambucca. But hey if its not alcohol motivating me its a coctail of amphetamines and crack - so what can you do?...

Thats a joke by the way..... And I will try that car bomb thing at myworks bbq next week (its a free bar   :tard:  hahahaha)

Uhhhh, how can you do that!!
I thought drinking cold was better!

It's not like it was by choice but when the temp. is like 95 fing degrees out anything you leave out or in your car tends to get warm.

Uh... Yeah, okay, I'll dive in here.

I don't drink, that would be illegal of me to drink, but it's stupid the way kids can get ahold of alcohol these days. All you have to do is ask an adult outside to go in and be served for you, I've watched it, and, they stupidly agree because they would have wanted it when they were young.

As for it tasting nice, I've never been around alcohol, my mum doesn't drink (however my dad was a raging alcoholic =P) and my family don't do the full blown drunk thing. I'll taste a tiny bit of it, but, everything, it just tastes horrible. I think my friends have shaven off their taste buds with alcohol just so they could consume a little bit of fake happiness.

This is another thing I don't understand. Why would people want to drink to make you happy when it's a depressant? It should be labelled somewhere on the bottle.

Being in Liverpool myself (it's lovely really, come visit) the police patrol more dense areas to find teenagers drinking and they even offer lifts home for extremely out of it drunks. Still doesn't work that much, it's not logical to be illuminous when trying to find someone who can quickly run away from people.

Now, there's a smoking ban in England on the 1st July, which I cannot wait for. I think smoking's much worse than alcohol, it's their choice to drink, it's their choice to smoke, but it's not my choice to inhale the fumes that really irritate me.

I think that it's pathetic over here. Majority of people in this thread are from the States where their laws are much higher when it comes to smoking and dribking. You have to be 16 here to buy cigarettes, 16 to destroy your developing body. The alcohol age is 18, but apparently, you won't get served unless you look 21, lie. You can drive at the age of 17, and, a year later, you can crash because of alcohol, well done government.

America is nuts in that sense.
You can legally; get married - have a mortgage - have kids - have sex - star in a porn movie - hold down a job/pay tax - watch any kind of depraved movie you like - drive a motor vehicle/bike - all at 18 years old.

But you have to wait 2 years to have a beer?!

Alcohol is a depressant. But it also lowers inhibitions, relaxes you, and kills brain cells. After a few drinks you can feel good. Happy and uplifted. But when you take it to extremes (i.e puking your guts out nearly unconscious) thats when it becomes a problem.
Hey if you ain't tried it don't knock it

Britain has a nihilistic drinking culture though. kids at 16 getting drunk. And practically every young person getting hammered evety week - theres definately something wrong...

Alright, so there are a lot of unanswered questions floating around. First of which being: Why the hell isnt LiK responding to his own thread? I made this thread last night at midnight. I then proceeded to go to bed, thinking that I would have one or two responses the next morning. It is now morning, and Ive got a page and a half to respond to, so thats why I havent been on here.

Next Up: Why dont I drink?

There are multiple Reasons
1. Ussually, I simply wouldnt have time.
2. I dont want to act like my friends why'll theyre drunk, because its simply ridiculous.
3. Its illegal, although this wouldnt stop me if I wanted to.
4. (And most importantly) As I already stated, I cant afford to drink. No, not because Im poor, because Ive got too much at stake. You guys dont understand that 'a few drinks every other weekend' (posted by someone I forget who) could destroy everything Ive worked for. I am either lifting or training every single day of the week, sometimes both, and I cant afford to miss a single day. Think thats kinda strict? Kinda overboard? Why not take a day off? Ask me those questions when Im headlining wrestlemania. No, Im not joking.

Number 3: 'it tasting good' not being on my list of reasons to drink. This is probably because most of the people Ive asked are my friends, and my friends have not been drinking very long, so you can imagine that the two answers I have supplied are more suitable.

Oh, and just to clear things up: This thread was not intended to be seen as a flame towards those of you that drink responsibly. I thank all of you that keep safety in mind why'll drinking.

Tell me if I missed any questions or you have any more and keep the replies coming

I think drinking is OK but some people who drink ARE NOT OK. Drunk driving is a horrible problem in my province - too many people going to court and getting off too lightly, I say they should have their licences taken away permanently every single time :mad5: The other problem is too many guys yelling in the streets, pissing and throwing up on everything - it's like you should have to get a card saying you're responsible enough to drink because there are too many idiots ruining it for everyone esle.

When you headline wrestlemania I will watch it with a beer! (likely a few beers)

(Even though I don't watch wrestling....?)

Dont get me wrong, I was glad to see a smoking ban in my area too, but its comments like these that really hit home for me.

I agree with you that it isnt your choice to inhale fumes. But what does that cause, other than a nuisance. A few months off of your lifetime?

On the other hand, what about the little boy that was killed in a car accident with a drunk, did HE have a choice?
Or the little girl that gets beaten to death by her father every night, does SHE have a choice?

Alcohol kills. Second hand smoke causes early death.
