american guitar hero instruments working on the uk wii?

hey im trying to find out that if the american wii controllers work on the uk wii then would the american guitar hero world tour instruments work on the uk wii? i know the game wouldn't but the american price for the instruments is soooo much cheap than here.

please answer if you know as i don't want to buy and it doesnt work thanks!

Can't give a guarantee, but given that Wii Remotes are region free (ie. a remote from anywhere will work with any given console), and that the instruments for Guitar Hero all communicate using the remotes, then there is no reason instruments from NA shouldn't work in the UK.
