American Wii

I managed to get an American Wii which should be with me in a couple of days... now here is where the problems start!

1. Will i need some form of "step-up" transformer?

2. Will it play U.K games?

3. Will it run at 60hz?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the answer is "yes" to all the above...

4. Anyone want to buy a "Cheap" American Wii.:yikes:

It won't play UK games. You'll have to get them all from an American online store like Best Buy or something.

It might come with a UK 3 Plug thingy. If not just buy a Converter

If you are in the UK you need to buy a UK wii and sell the american one you have to one of the american forum members.

They are already working on a freeloader for the Wii if I heard correctly, so that will remove the region lock. But you might have to wait for a bit.

Good idea would be to sell that american wii because unless your tv supports NTSC you will be playing your games in balck ans white.
