Another Component Cable Thread. sorry.

Hello - I recently purchased and installed the Nintendo Wii component cables and have a "is this normal?" question. I am using a 42 inch Panasonic Plasma and the widescreen and HDTV options have been confirmed on the Wii. So my question is, when I'm playing Brawl, the image does not fill up the entire screen? There is about 1.5 inches of black space all around. Is this normal?

are the wii and the TV both set to the proper "widescree/16:9" setting?

Yes, the Wii is set properly. The tv is set to "FULL", which I think is the same as "widescreen".

try changing the TV setting to something else.
