hey guys. i have a question about my dvd system.

so it will work fine for like 10 minutes at a time, but then after that all the sound will cut out, while the video keeps running.

we have a panasonic 5 disc changer with surround sound speakers and such. but we also run the vcr through the dvd player and sound always works fine. any thoughts on what the problem is? i want to buy a new receiver but i just want to make sure thats the problem so i dont buy one then find out that wasnt it. thanks in advance.

Honestly I haven't a clue, you might want to talk to some a/v guys at an electronics store, or even call the help people at Panasonic. I don't know if we have too many dvd player geniuses in here. Sorry I can't be of any help.
