1. I leave my computer on 24/7 with the usb wifi plugged in
2. I unplug my wifi usb and shuts down my comp or leave it on
3. I leave my wifi usb plugged 24/7 and i turn off and turn on my computer regularly.

Well, before my USB Wi Fi connector crapped out on me, I was usually choice number one. Who knows when you'll want to venture onto the Opera Browser in the middle of the night:ihih:

My comp stays in hibernation mode. I just plug the usb in when I want to play.

Leaving a PC on with the WiFi USB attached is perfectly fine.

Mine is always attached, I just need to turn the firewall off sometimes.
Its alright though for me, I have mad security on still overlooking everything so its no harm done really.

I always left mine on... I just gave it away to my brother in law with his Wii... My wireless is quicker in the end but I never had and issue with the USB wifi, with a year of straight use.
