when I first started playing, I didn't use it, but now I use it all the time, it's just a common thing, lol.

I never wear the wrist strap anymore. I make everyone else wear it though.

I need to know why people wouldn't wear a wrist strap? Wouldn't it be annoying to have a strap flapping around you during gameplay? Or do you just learn to accept it? "Or" did you take it out? (I hope not)

I just put it off to the side. I can't stand wearing it while I'm holding the Wiimote sideways.

I take mine off. But I do make other people wear it especially during Wii sports. Because it's my system, if I slip and break the Wii mote i have noone to blame but myself and I can deal with that, but I'd be pissed if someone else broke the thing. So they have to wear it.

Just look at it, it's not rocket science. Pull it through the loop. I didn't have any trouble taking off the old ones to replace them with the stronger straps.
