I finally beat ganondorf and the game ended. it then brought me back to the beginning where i can chose one of my saved games. I thought i would be able to continue instead and finish my side quests..

Is that doable somehow that i missed?

researched and found answer to question.. sorry

It brought you to the begining?
It said the end so I basically said screw it, and shut off the system.
How long did you wait at "THE END" for it to take you to the save screen?

Yeah because it brings you back to the front of the castle. The 'end' screen sits there for like a minute or so and than goes to the title screen. There is no save after it. So basically you can fight Ganon tons of times if you like.
