Belkin Router/Wireless/Help/Youtubexl/setup

I'm not much of a gamer but I use Wii to watch youtubexl

I set up wireless in Wii settings.

It connects with no problem........I have 6 meg DSL and am always getting around 6 mbps on speedtests.....

So I go to youtube.com/xl on the Wii

It loads fine..........I go to watch a playlist and set it to autoplay, it will play perfectly fine with no buffering at all for maybe like a week or so, ....no problems......

Then out of no where, the video will buffer like crazy.......Like today....

The Wii console is pretty close to the router, which is Belkin

Is there anything I can do in my Wii setup or router setup? I know how to get to my router online but have no clue once I'm logged into my router what to do......The Wii is set to auto detect connection to my router.

Try turning your modem and router off and on. You can also setup your Wii with static IP address and use OpenDNS for your DNS settings. Also make sure to set MTU to auto which is the number zero.

Thanks. I have no idea how to set to static ip and use open DNS............

I did reboot modem/router in correct sequence

All day yesterday the Wii connected fine.....Youtube vids didn't buffer at all.......It's just every other day it seems to want to act out.

At first I thought perhaps it was a youtube.com/xl issue...........But I went straight on with my computer and it was fine, no buffering.
