Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex Announced for WiiWare-1.052010-01-21 21:41:57Maura S

Ben 10 fans who can’t get enough of their shape-shifting hero will be excited to hear that Konami and Cartoon Network have today announced that the franchise’s first ever downloadable game for home consoles is coming to WiiWare in the first quarter of 2010.

“We are excited to partner with Konami to introduce Ben 10 to the downloadable games market and are confident that Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex will deliver on the same exciting experience fans have come to expect from Ben,” said Christina Miller, senior vice president, CNE. “This will be a great addition to an already successful interactive program that includes multiple console titles and on-line games available on CN.com.”

Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex is an action-puzzle platformer where gamers get to play as Ben Tennyson with the ability to transform into 10 different aliens. Using the powers of the Omnitrix, players will be faced with battling a new force that threatens Earth, namely Hex. In order to defeat Hex, you’ll have to utilize each of Ben’s 10 alien forms at crucial points in the game, fully taking advantage of their special abilities and attributes.

Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex will be downloadable for Nintendo WiiWare in the first quarter of 2010. No news on how much it will cost as yet.
