After looking into Ben a little I am completely unconvinced that Sony influenced his review. The guy just thinks that Mario would have been spectacular on the PS3. I think his notion that the controls are awkward is way off but otherwise... meh.

well you shouldnt base a review off what a game would LOOK LIKE or PLAY LIKE on ANOTHER SYSTEM. you should base it on something like...i dont know...the actual game!!

Obviously quite a few of us care. At first glance it seems like Sony is paying off a journalist. That's interesting stuff no matter what the product is.

Sorry, but the freaking article was SPONSORED by Sony.
It was the Exact OPPOSITE of what every other reviewer said.
It included a tacit add for a competing product.

Variety, in general, is a giant book of paid ads disguised as articles.

The Variety review of Super Mario Galaxy was a deliberate smear ad ran as an article paid for by Sony.
