black and white

no matter how i make connections to tv everything is in black and white including movies from netflix. any suggestions. just got the game system. thanks

What cables are you using? Component (Red/Blue/Green) or Composite (Yellow/White/Red)?

white,red and yellow is what came with and plugs into the back of the unit. on the tv when i plug into the white,red and yellow i get nothing whatsoever including video 1 and 2. it was not until i plugged the yellow into a green receptacle marked video component 2 that i got video but no color. actually i see nowhere to plug component cables on the wii. thanks

Yellow tends to be video and should be plugged into a yellow socket.(Red and white are for sound left and right)
The green tends to be for HD
You might need to get a Wii component cable, but most TVs should have ye olde red white and yellow conections
