Bug or penalty ?

I came across this video :

in it you see jigglypuff shielding then being shot up into the sky....
Is this a bug, or is being killed now the penalty for holding your shield for too long?

hmmm what with all the smoke coming out around jigglypuff is that how it looks now? but any way yeah i think its a bug, he/she was online so maby its just a lag bug or somthing w/e it is i hope they fix it

If I'm not mistaken doesn't she do that in Melee when her shield is depleted?

yeah never mind, it seems that it's been going on since the original smash bros. I just tested it.

I think it's a penalty, they've totally mutillated her voice.

Ya i just tested it in Melee she does that if her shield breaks, Also if you do this on a stage with a roof and break her shielf jigglypuff will be upside down on it its pretty awesome
