Activision Publishing has today announced Build-A-Bear Workshop: Friendship Valley for the Nintendo Wii. In the game, which I think we can safely say is aimed at younger gamers, players can choose their new best friend from 13 characters and decorate their Cub Condo. There are also a variety of mini-games to play in order to win medals. This what David Oxford from Activision Publishing has to say about the game:

“Visiting a real-life Build-A-Bear Workshop store is great fun for any family. We want to bring this world to life on Wii and Nintendo DS, building on the elements that made the brand so popular.”

And here’s what Maxine Clark, founder and chief executive bear (it says here!) of Build-A-Bear says about the game:

“Build a Bear Workshop: Friendship Valley encourages friendship and creativity while allowing families to share in the Build-A-Bear Workshop experience from home.”

Build-A-Bear Workshop: Friendship Valley will be released for the Wii in North America on March 23rd 2010.
