What is the real deal about this. I have reached level 65 and can chose Prestige but what benefits if any do you get. I know you start back to basic weapons but what else happens?

Your rank symbol thing changes. There's a different symbol for every prestige rank. Other than that, you get nothing else. The only reason I prestiged was because It bothered me that I didn't get experience points for kills anymore. I like feeling that I accomplish something with every kill.
