I've got my Wii set-up on a WiFi router and it's connecting fine. The problem is the speed. I read threads about guys getting an update in 3 minutes and it's taking me 15-20 minutes. What gives?
I've got a fast cable connection. (5mbps up/512kbps down) Is there a setting I have to change in my router or something? My router (Linksys WRT54G) sits literally 15 feet away from the Wii, it's not a signal issue, they are in a straight line with each other.
It's driving me crazy waiting all the time for these updates and downloads. Anyone have any clues as to what this could be?
