Can't play with 2

Hi. We are new to the Wii (just got it about a month ago for the kids). All of a sudden, you can't play with 2 players.

No matter what game you have inserted, if you pick 2 players, the station freezes up and you have to power down. It never loads the game. (I call it the white screen of death. Even the music gets stuck on one repeating note.)

We have tried new batteries in the wands, re-sync-ing the wands, and complete power downs. It hasn't helped.

Anybody have any idea what the problem might be and/or how to fix this?

(It continues to work fine with just 1 player.)

I would certainly appreciate any help anyone can give us.

Have you tried disconnecting the power from the wall? This causing the system to freeze sounds like a hardware problem, it may be in your best interest to call Nintendo and inform them; you may need a replacement console. Oh, and welcome to Wiichat!

This has been fixed in the update this morning!! Well mkine has not done it since updating!
