I found this little info on the wii. It said that the Wii would have two dozen games availiable by the time of its November release in the UK. Most likely this means no worldwide release, US will probably get it sooner, but with fewer titles at the beginning.

24 games is about right, to my knowledge there arent that many more games coming out at launch for the us. I thought there were going to be around twenty in the us. You never know though, wii could launch in november, therefore keeping it a worldwide launch date.
