Classic Controller

I was under the impression that classic controllers include free Wii points. Was the idea scrapped or what?

Also what is the button at the top for?

Some shop owners received gifts from Nintendo with a Classic controller with 7000 points that the only time they have come with points and I'm not sure what the button is for but I think Nintendo may just be keeping their options open,

If you look at the back of the classic controller, you'll find 2 slot thingies, and if you push the mysterious middle button, they open, which suggests something could clip on there! Possibly some kind of attachment?

The Toys R Us in Times Square here in NYC has bins full of controllers. They have tons of Wiimotes for $30.

Oh wow! Thats so cool! I found that here in Australia, all the wii stuff is cheaper at Toys r Us for some random reason... like wii play and zelda were cheaper than they were at JB and EB...
