Component cables

can someone enighten me on the use of componenet cables as against those that come with the wii...havent got mine until next week but not even sure what CC's are and what sockets on the TV they plug into ..help please ut:

you must have HDTV to use the cables. If you have HDTV you should have no problem where they hook up at.

No it is not HDTV. Yes you can get HD with those cables, but my TV is not HD and I got component ports. Just waiting for them now.

Component uses EDTV (Enhanced definition), it's the same specs as standard def, but it has better black levels.

me too, i dont know whether or not to buy the component calbes cuz my tv is not HD but it has component inputs, will it make diferente?

actually ED is 480p, as opposed to 480i

Yes it will make a difference, it will improve the quality of your picture by far.
