Component Problem

Component cables make my tv(toshiba tz55v61) show 2 images(split vertically) with no colour when place on 480p mode (480i looks fine). Any ideas or suggestions to fix this problem? Anyone else with this problem?

do you have them plugged into component ports
?

the ports should be green red and blue
one of them is yp i cant remember what the other two are
