Connect 24

Just a quick qs...... PLease don't can me for asking i have looked for the answer on message boards here.

I am connected to the web using the dongle. This means of course that I can only connect when my pc is on... thats not a problem but what i wanna know is..... is it worth turning on connect 24??

If you use the Forecast and News channel or have games like Elebits/Eledees that make use of the Connect24 function then I guess it would be worth turning on...


Personally I leave mine off for various reasons:

1. I don't use to Forecast or News Channel
2. I don't have any games that make use of Connect24
3. Keeps my Wii cooler when powered off
4. Saves some bandwith for my home network
5. I think it's pointless at the momment

Connect 24 - hmmm unless you can't be bothered with checking for updates / wii/mii email manually then, for now, it's not worth it but according to Nintendo philosophy then sometime, somewhere in the not too distant future they will be offering some form of downloadable content which will utilise WiiConnect24.
