Connectiontest freezes

Ok i got following problem:
My Wii is connected to a switch in my room, which is connected to my router. (LAN Adapter)
I set all connections options in the wiioption, but when i start the ConnectionTest now, it runs and runs and runs... the longest time i waited for any result was 45 minutes so far -.-*

could anyone of you please help me

Unplug your Wii and try again. It's been known to freeze.

I tried it several times but every time the same problem,
i also bought mario strikers charged an installed the wii update from the game,
still the same problem :*(
