I've downloaded Super Mario World but i don't have a classic controller. I'm playing it using a gamecube controller. The prob is that it has assined the "run" on Y button and the "jumb" on b button. It's not very easy to play like that. Is there a way to change the buttons configuration or the classic controller is the only solution?

Sorry, looks like you'll need a Classic Controller. I've tried to play SMW with a Gamecube controller, but like you said, it's awkward and unintuitive.

yea, i just went and checked and there's no way to change the buttons or anything. you'll have to get a classic controller, sorry.

OK then! I'll buy one though i'm sure a lot of games will play properly using a gc controller. The classic controller connects to the wiimote??

That must be quite foolish!! I have to put the wiimote next to me on the sofa and have the cable messing with my feet??Anyway... Couldn't it be wireless itself?

Yep, pretty much. Unless you went with the Nyko Classic Controller Grip:

It could, but like the nunchuk, it isn't. You could go with a 3rd-party wireless classic controller though. Thrustmaster makes one, although it works via a Gamecube port dongle:

Not sure why they decided to go that route vs. working with the Wii's built-in supposed for wireless controllers.
