From lyrical masters to soft spoken poets

Hello this thread is for those who love poetry and care to write and(or) critique it. My poetry tends to focus on love and a few smaller things. it doesn't matter what what you rhyme about and what scheme you use as long as it's a form of poetry its welcomed. Rap and prose are also exceptional.

there is however a format i'd like to follow. The top i would like to be the actual poem, then after what you what was the intentional meaning of the poem. I like this format because it opens the the reader to writers and his own interpretation.

I'll start off,

This one is called "Love is Insanity, Insanity is not Love"

Her voice is like a beautiful melody that gives me inspiration,
Also fearful because it's the symphony of my won destruction-
My greatest strength, ironically my greatest weakness,
Love is Insanity, Insanity is not Love-
vulnerability and sensitivity, a weight of passion,
traits of love and compassion-
hammered like a nail and minimized like a window i've been through it all,
to me you are perfect without flaw-
love is insanity, insanity is not love-
to deny our animal instinct puts me in awe,
give me the chance and I will not fall-
I am insane because I am in love,
I am your angel I will take you above,
because Love is Insanity, Insanity is not Love-

the title comes from me being completely amazed that we totally throw aside our animal instinct to survive just because of our love for someone else some of us would gladly risk our lives for the person we love and it truly amazes me that i feel that way. I grew up with the lack of love in my eyes so when i see it or feel i feel happy.
