Did Mii editor give me spyware?

Please people! tell me why it does this. when i use it, firefox and IE freeze after about 15 seconds of use and slowed my pc right down. so i restarted, and did a spyware/virus scan. It showed me that i had got normal tracking cookies and a .exe file. the website specified that i recived it from was miieditor.com
-HOWEVER-
I used to use mii editor without any problems at all a week ago, i really don't think this site is supposed to have malicious software.
-MAYBE-
I got it from another site or a download, disguising itself as if it was from miieditor.com

sometimes even if you do a spyware/virus scan, some viruses/trojans/spywares don't register so it could be possible that you might have been infected through another source. lol I suggest that you reinstall your mii editor just to be sure.. =)

I dont acutally install it, i used it on the website

I guarantee you used IE when this problem first started :ciappa:
It sounds to me though that the virus is from another source, not Miieditor.

nope firefox :3 i only use IE as an alternative when firefox doesnt display a page right
