Yes I know that. But I won't have to worry about pulling the system down with a wireless GC controller will I? That was my point. I was saying that I would never use a wired controller on it so I am not going to knock it over that way.

I keep mine horizontal, vertical always seemed too precarious to me. Never noticed getting it too hot either.

Horizontal. I hadn't thought about it getting hotter this way. I tried it vertically but thought it looked better horizontally.

1. because it looks better and more modern
2. the buttons look upside down when its flat.

I don't like the whole idea of a dvd drive being vertical; maybe it's just me.

Vertical is the way to go...I think it makes the Wii stand out more from the rest of my horizontal audio/video equipment.
