Does Wii Support Widescreen?

Hi I got an HDTV and when I put my PS2 on it, it's letterbox and looks sucky. So will the Wii support widescreen so it could at least look decent? Thanks.

Yes, it does. 16:9 or 4:3

Be sure to get a component cable if you have a HDTV.
