DS on internet channel?

Ok, I was looking on the wii keyboard thread and I saw that you can use DS on internet channel. How do you do this?

I remember reading that in a thread a while back too, but I'm pretty certain it's not actually possible. I've never heard anything about being able to use the DS in conjunction with the Internet Channel, and Google's not bringing up anything about it. As far as I'm aware you'll have to get a USB keyboard if you don't want to use the Wii's on-screen one.
