so im thinking fo getting a ds for xmas.
where will i be able to play games onlines.
i want to get zelda/mariokart and my understanding is that mario kart is online.
i read the review on gamespot and this worried me.

No. You can use ANY wireless point, incluyding hotspots.

This includes your wireless router, don't worry

You can buy the Nintendo Wifi dongle. You plug it into your computer and you can connect to it through the DS

Thats what he is talking about. Im not sure how much it is in other countries but here in AUS it can be had for around $50. It also works for the wii so you wouldnt have to worry about wires or anything like you do now.

i purchused the lan adapter becasue i have a wired connection.
explain to me if i will be able to use the ds online with the wifi connector and if so why cant i use it for the wii?

No. If you already had a wireless connection then you wouldn't need the wireless adaptor!

Trust me, you need the wireless adaptor.

It plugs in to your computer. Then you can connect to it with your DS.
