Y on the Metroid 3 cover it has Samus with her normal suit on, wen u have it on only for the introduction and the rest the PED suit, y not the PED suit for the cover???

almost i have yet to figure out how to get past the acid rain in the pirate world

Probably because it represents her. If you think about Samus you immediatly think in the varia suit.

yep....and almost all the game covers have her wearing the varia suit

The Varia suit is Samus's symbol. Also, even f you do get the PED suit towards the beginning of the game, it's still an unlockable. Usually unlockables are not shown on a game's box cover.
