DVD drive and Gamecube discs - noisy ?

Does anyone here play GameCube games on their Wii? If so, have you noticed if the DVD Drive has an almost constant 'clicking' sound when a Cube disc is inserted, irrespective of whether it's being accessed or not?

I only have one Cube game disc and one Wii disc, but other than slight noise when it's being accessed the Wii disc is pretty quiet in comparison to the Cube disc.

had this too, just try ejecting and reinserting the cd differently, like a little bit higher or lower, just to change alignment a little when is centers it

mine wouldnt recognise the mini dvd cause i hadnt inserted it in the middle, be sure to do this, but yeah the wii drive is generally a bit noisy , not anything annoying though

Thanks guys. Could the cause also be because Cube discs spin faster (I think) than Wii discs?

Sometimes mine would click 3 times when reading a Wii disc, but thats only happened a couple times.

I play GameCube discs all the time, I heven't noticed anything ultra noticeable... But I keep the Pro-Logic pretty loud.
