Eject Button Question

When I press the eject button on my wii when there is no game inside of it, the wii turns on, and I was wondering if that was normal.

Most probably right. To Eject it has to be on. And it doesn't really know if theres a disc in because it's switched off.
Im going with 90% thats normal. Im in college at the moment but I'll check when I get home mate

Yes, it's perfectly normal. The Wii has to be on to eject. You press the button, it turns on to eject, game or not.
