Hi there I am having a problem. I inserted a disc and got an error message saying (An error has occurred, press the eject button and remove the disc. Turn off the power to the console).

I tried the instructions in the manual but it still does the same, even with different discs.

Anyone else seen this problem?

How old is your machine?

One possible solution is to clean the lens. Nintendo now has an official kit for around $9.99 from Gamestop (http://tinyurl.com/bv68tt) and/or Amazon (http://tinyurl.com/assvtk).

The other option is to contact Nintendo and see about getting the Wii repaired.
