when is the everybodys nintendo channel suppose to release??
ive seen dec 10 being given as a date on other forums but i think thats crap
ive not seen any real source with a date on it
i have heard that date on other forums to but i thought it was going to be released in november sometime
Nintendo confirmed that both channels would be released in November in Japan. Seeing as America got Check Mii Out the same day Japan did, I'd assume that we'd be getting this channel in November.
well lets hope that it is really soon i have been waiting for this channel for a very LONG time
everybody nintendo channel, whats that?
Yeah, what the?
sounds stupid. . . never heard of it what is it?
It a channel where you can get DS demos (to sent over wi-fi to your DS) and Wii preview videos.
The name is a translation of the Japanese name for the channel, it may be called something else when it's released here.
It's the Demo channel.
It'll have demo movies for upcomming Wii games, and also make your Wii function as a download station for the DS, so that you can download demo movies and playables on you DS, and possibly bonus content for DS games. Can we say Mystery gift for Pokemon?
Are there only demo movies for the wii or playables also?
no source says playable for wii so were guessing no demos for wii
aw that sucks no playables for wii!!!
Not enough memory for playables on Wii.
It's POSSIBLE that we'll get playable Wii demos, but they would have to be very limited. It's actually much more likely as part of the WiiWare setup once that come out, since it will allow for small interactive Wii games.
well if they did make them where they are demo's for wii then the will be really compressed files
Finally a channel that may actually get some use from me!
However in typical Nintendo fashion they go and shoot themselves in the foot by not including a Harddisk. They have crippled the potential of the Wii online service before its even got going and the Wii in general by not providing or allowing HD storage.
I remember when Graphic Adventures came on 11 Floppy Disks (yes I'm old) and had to be swapped in and out about a million times, what was Nintendo thinking using SD Cards as the only method of storage!
Think about it, in two years time how many SD Cards will you have lying around if you want to store downloaded Wii content and save games.
I've found some 20 dollar san disk 2GB sd cards. Think I should get a few?
So, keep in mind that the Wii has 2 USB ports.
It wouldn't be a terribly complex update to add HD Drivers to the system, and use USB hard drives.
