Apparently reggie said u will be able to download content to ur ds from ur wii in the future in an interview with the new work times i think it was today. At least this is almost a confirmation of the channels release.

I expect it to release a week before Wii Fit is released, just like Japan. I'm excited for it, as well as WiiWare games.
